Cornerscape in many ways started as a live music events company. We present our own events and series, and we also produce creative events for clients. For clients, we will work with you to determine the goal of your event and its scope. From there, we can handle as much or as little of the production, marketing, logistics, and management as you'd like. That way you don't have to stress about the logistics; you can just enjoy the show.
Music Event Design and Production
We work with individuals and organizations on arts strategy and arts project management. This ranges from overseeing a musician's Kickstarter campaign to creating a new strategic plan for a concert series. Cornerscape will take the time to understand your organization and your challenge. Then we'll help you meet your goals.
At Cornerscape, we take a community-first approach to creative placemaking. By working with you and local stakeholders, we leverage arts and culture to positively impact your neighborhood. We believe that having a strong creative economy and a vibrant arts scene is essential to a healthy community, and these ideas and projects are best when they come from the community, not from us.
We offer one-off career and project consultations for those looking for shorter-term help. We have some standard formats for you to choose from, but if these aren't fitting exactly what you're looking for we are happy to work with you to set an agenda.
Planning a Great Creative Event: In this workshop, you'll learn the basics to putting on a great event that people will want to come to and keep talking about later. You'll learn about permitting, building community partnerships, cross-promotion, and more. You'll leave with tips, tricks, and of course a few checklists.
Preparing for your Kickstarter: In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of running a successful Kickstarter campaign. What makes a video compelling and instructive? How many reward levels should you offer? What should they be? How do you convince casual fans to pledge? You'll learn answers to all of these questions and more, and leave with materials that will help you through the campaign from planning to reward execution.
General Project Consultation: In this two-hour session, you'll tell us about your project idea (this might be a new event series, web project, performance, etc.), and we'll work together to establish a timeline, budget, and concept plan to bring it to life. You handle the execution.
